Fencing

This can make a great deal of difference to the appearance and security of your property. Whether it is to keep animals and people in or out, provide privacy or a windbreak. There is a array of fencing solutions we can provide.

Choosing a fence.

  • Panel fencing

Ready made panels fixed between timber or concrete posts resting on timber or concrete gravel board to prevent ground contact of the panel. Panels maybe thin interwoven slat (known as lap panels) or overlapped horizontal boards (known as close board)

Good for screening and security.

If treated will give you years of service.

  • Feather edged close board.

Upright overlapping feather edged boards nailed to horizontal arris rails. This can be used with concrete or timber posts.

Cost effective and flexibility on height and width.

  • Post and rail

Spaced horizontal rails secured to posts (ranch style) using half, rounded, or square sawn timber.

Suitable for boundary/livestock (using stock wire) not affected by the wind and does not effect the outlook.

  • Picket

Spaced upright stakes pointed or rounded nailed to horizontal rails and fixed to wooden posts in 3or 4ft heights.

Suitable for a boundary fence, more so for a front garden where they can be painted or treated to create a pleasing look. Comparatively cheap.

  • Chestnut paling

Stakes wired together and stretched between posts suitable for temporary boundary while a hedge is growing or up against an existing thin hedge.

  • Trellis

Timber battens forming squares between posts as a screen to grow climbers to create a living wall.

  • Wire fencing

To provide security for live stock or pet animals. Useful on a uneven ground, does not effect the outlook.

To compliment your fencing and provide access we can supply and fit various gates and hardware(fixings) to suit.
